PonsCity documentation
PonsCity is home to PonsVille: a colorful 2D town where players create a character, explore, work, socialize and play simple arcade games.
The game and multiplayer presence are live. Wallet identity is live. ETH rewards remain a clearly labeled local simulation until the reward contract and operator are deployed and published.
Quick start
Every PonsVille character belongs to one wallet address. Select a wallet first; PonsCity then loads that address’s existing character or opens the creator for a new one.
Gameplay
PonsVille is deliberately easy to understand. The depth comes from the town systems rather than difficult controls.
Things you can do
- Complete story tasks and earn town coins.
- Talk to residents, build friendships, eat and manage energy, mood, hunger and social needs.
- Work at Moss Studio, open a business and hire employees with different output and wages.
- Buy items, decorate your home and collect community keepsakes.
- Choose between three short games in the Little Arcade.
Saving
Progress is saved automatically in your browser under the selected public wallet address. Each wallet has a separate profile. Disconnecting or logging out closes the active character without deleting it; reconnect that wallet to load it again.
Controls and sound
Use whichever control style feels most natural. A lime guide points toward the next story destination.
Multiplayer presence
When a wallet-linked player enters town, PonsVille can show up to a few nearby players so the map stays readable. The presence service receives a random session ID, character name, appearance, scene and approximate position. It does not need or receive your wallet address.
Wallet identity
The wallet is the character key. Use the single “Connect wallet” action in the PonsCity header; PonsCity discovers Rabby, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Brave Wallet, Trust Wallet and other EIP-6963 compatible providers separately. Selecting a wallet does not by itself authorize spending.
PonsCity does not request a private key. The current release does not request a message signature or transaction during wallet selection. Open the wallet menu or pause menu to switch accounts, switch extensions or disconnect. The previous wallet’s character remains saved. Always read your wallet prompt before approving it.

Automatic rewards
Every 30 minutes, 70% of funded creator fees goes to the creator and team. The remaining 30% becomes a fixed ETH reward pool for eligible players.
Hold more tokens to receive a larger base share. Complete missions to boost that share. More tokens plus more play means a larger ETH reward, but all players together can never receive more than the fixed 30% pool.
Mission boost
Complete any qualifying activity to enter the round at 1.0x. Each unique mission then adds 0.1x, which is 10% more reward weight. Only the first completion of each mission counts during that round.
Easy example
Bob and Cara each hold 50 tokens. Bob completes one mission and Cara completes none. From a fixed 0.3 ETH player pool, Bob receives 0.1571 ETH and Cara receives 0.1429 ETH. Bob earns 10% more because of his mission. Together they still receive exactly 0.3 ETH.
reward weight = token balance x mission multiplier
Planned revision: the currently compiled vault enforces proportional token weighting. The capped activity multiplier is documented here for the next contract revision and is not live yet.
The interface currently shows simulated ETH values. No live reward contract address is configured or advertised. This changes only after deployment, source verification and public documentation.
The Solidity prototype reads ERC-20 balances onchain, accepts operator-submitted active-wallet batches, rejects duplicate or unsorted recipients, handles deferred failed transfers and records settlement hashes. It has not been represented as audited.
